What are the requirements to become a LEAGAL Microblading Artist in the United States? 🇺🇸

You must be at least 18 years old.
Bloodborne Pathogens (BBP) Certification:
Completion of a BBP training program that meets OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) standards is almost universally required to ensure safe hygiene practices and prevent the spread of infectious diseases.
Formal Training/Certification: Most states require completion of a comprehensive microblading or permanent makeup course
Artist License: You will need to obtain a license or be registered as a body art practitioner with your local county or state health department.
Facility/Establishment License: The location where you perform services must also have a valid health permit and pass inspection to ensure it meets health and safety standards.
Liability Insurance: Carrying professional liability insurance is strongly recommended, and often required, to protect yourself and your business.
